You have to enjoy the grind. Having a positive attitude helps you push yourself further
The closer you are to your team mates the better you will perform together on the pitch
Get into good habits early

You never know when you might need support so make sure your support your team mates and their goals
Do 5 tackles at the end of practice or some kicks at goal. A little extra goes a long way and it all adds up!
Sleep is so vital for performance and recovery, make sure you give yourself a sleep routine!
Watch games and go see the men’s/women’s matches at your local club – you can always learn new things
Work at what you do best. Just because you rock at something doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work on improving it.
Set yourself small daily goals! Even if it is to drink 2 litres of water. Set it and work to achieve it!
Log what your daily food and drink consumption is. Get to know the trends and what your daily/weekly intake is. If you feel you have a lack of energy check your food diary – it could be why
Drink plenty of water, when you first wake up and keep drinking throughout the day
Celebrate the good things! Achieving your goals, when you have pushed yourself, scored or won games
See if you’re doing enough or not enough!! It’s a good way to reflect on your goals as well
